Valentines

It's always this time of the year that my stomach starts to twist and turn about who to ask to be my Valentine. Both success and failure have been a constant in this day of sparks and emotions. However, this year is wonderfully special. Although we've had our ups and downs, Michelle, we've always learned to cope with our differences and negative feelings about each other and forgive and forget. As you were my Valentine last year, I still fondly remember perfectly about our first date together at Eastridge. I was a nervous wreck, going over smooth one liners and trying to keep myself calm. However, after we started the date, things started to calm themselves down without me even trying. I knew that we were compatible and that I liked you a lot, but who would have ever known us to get this far.
I know we had a little quarrel yesterday, and we can't hang out because of our respective family's New Year's celebration, but I would just like to say I'm so thankful and blessed you've come this far along with me and to be my Valentine.
You are most definitely my better half.

Sincerely,
Chong Park

Overcrowded.

It's 1:30 in the morning, and although yesterday I told myself I will complete everything I've planned to do today, it's not working out.
-Calc review problems (didn't start)
-Euro Art Presentation (See last blog update)
-Physio 40 questions (did 3 questions)
-English Studying (yeah right)

I've always hated finals week.
I know everyone grumbles and whines about it, but I sincerely hate it.
Most of the problems that arise during finals week though are self-inflicted.
Procrastination mainly, a little bit of no real motivation, and a lack of care.

Every time I look at the work that my group members sent me for the Euro project, the more it looks ridiculous. You, the reader. Tell me why I have no right to complain.
-The assignment is a 10 minute powerpoint presentation on whatever art period Ms. Davis gave you. Our group was assigned the Romantic Era. Include historical highlights in the form of a time line, give specific examples of art and its most prominent figures of the time, and explain in detail who influenced and who was influenced. Talk about your examples of art. Basically give a lecture on what era you are assigned.
-YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO USE POWERPOINT? I know I ranted about that in the previous post, but seriously..It already sounds ridiculous.
-The presentation asks for TEN minutes. Maybe in your world, as exhibited through your sparse and pathetic, grammatical-error-filled, rudimentary, and almost useless notes, TEN minutes is TWO minutes. Sorry guys, ten minutes is actually TEN WHOLE FUCKING MINUTES.
-At least give me pictures of I told you guys to do. Literary and music figures. How hard is it to google some fucking pictures so I can post them onto the slideshow? Again, ridiculous
-And the handout. We are supposed to type up a one page handout of general information about the Romantic Era. Can't even do that huh? So, along with the entire project of the powerpoint, you want me to do that handout huh?

I've run out of things to rant on.

I want to do something crazy this weekend. Something that makes me feel like I've just been released from a high security prison. Something thrilling, something that does NOT involve academics or school at ALL. Something like blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing.

My dad is a nut job.
Okay dad, the fucking USPS does not need you to rewrite the addresses on the transcripts because I already wrote it out. For a certificate of mail, all YOU have to do is provide some chump change and buy it. Nothing else. Don't bag on me for something you don't know how to do yourself.

I can't wait to get my license.
Coming up next month.

Maybe I'll watch a movie right now.
Physio is not cuttin it for me.

I need a new phone. Whatever verizon tells you guys, the enV touch is garbage.
My touchscreen's calibration settings are not where I want them to be, and I can't do anything about it.

Subscribe for more cynical and caustic remarks about finals week, group members, dad, my phone, and anything else that irritates me this week.

:EDIT
This post is MEAN!

Euro.

So um.
thanks for doing your share of the work.
How do you not know how to do operate PowerPoint.
My 10 year old sister knows how to work it.
fuck.

And really now?
Its a fucken 10 minute presentation and you give me 1 page of bullshit. I'm not even gonna use it cause it will bring our grade down.

And you.
Can't attach the file to the mail that I specifically asked you to send because I need your notes.
Probably garbage notes anyways.

fuck my life

Hope

I hope, with sincerity, that with the onset of the upcoming year, procrastination will be a fading memory.

Off to an early good start though, writing a new blog instead of working on Crime and Punishment reading notes..

On a better note, I can't wait for Thursday. All day with my love, visiting a sauna in Santa Clara (it's not co-ed, ya sick fucks), possibly a romantic dinner, probably a romantic NEW MOON session, and most likely a couple of heartwarming hugs :)

hm

Been a while.
Sup blog.

Yeah I've been really slacking off this year. Especially my handling of college admissions and requests for recommendation letters. Especially my school work which I should atleast have 5 A's by now. Especially my SAT work of which I told myself to study for 3 hours every day for 2 weeks preceding the actual test. Especially my job hunting. Especially my plan that I devised and told myself to follow about saving money. Especially my better balance between friends, school, and girlfriend. Especially cleaning my room. Especially making a good impression on all my senior teachers. Especially not sleeping in class. ESPECIALLY YOU DOLCI. Especially not spending time wasting away on the laptop and instead going out to do something a LITTLE more productive.

Ah senior me.
How I despise you so.
